  1. Do you think the traditional 67% Hitter/Pitcher split is still best? With my settings, Tatis is worth $80 and Cole is worth $34, which takes some stomaching.

You’re right, the industry standard has shifted on this. It’s closer to 64% or 63% these days. The default setting in the ’22 Board has already been updated to reflect this, but there are a few places on the older blog pages here where I have not yet updated the advice.

Hi Tony – since it’s all online, there are ‘Update’ buttons that you can use to pull in updated projections. No need to download anything new!

  2. Baseball is back! One question–

Any chance you can add a DH slot? My league has added a DH slot as a fun twist based on the NL rule change this year, and I think not having one here is messing with my values a bit.

    Thanks!

Hi Brendan – I’ll have to consider it for next year but as-is, there’s no simple way to add it for ’22. UTIL is of course supported but I don’t think that’s what you mean. Should be interesting trying to fill a DH slot… how many games do players need to DH before they qualify as DH in your league?

      1. Yeah I’m using UTIL as shorthand right now but I think the result is that it undervalues the DH players (which I can manually adjust for, no biggie). 16 team league too, so you can imagine its a bit thin . . .

We do standard ESPN position eligibility, which I think (but did not confirm) is 20 games from the prior season or 10 games in season.

  3. Hey man, love the big board buy it every year. I’m currently having issues running it as I am getting an error message saying "TypeError: Cannot read property ‘length’ of undefined"

any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Hey Max, something on Google’s side causes the script to fail right now, sort of randomly. It doesn’t happen every time, and if you run the update multiple times it eventually works. In fact, usually the stats do update even when it gives the error message. Sorry for the inconvenience- I’ll post to the site with updates when I know more.
